The Context

As a growing startup, Tradis Solutions recognised the importance of building an inclusive and respectful workplace from the early stages of organisational growth. While startups often focus heavily on business expansion and operational priorities, leadership understood that creating awareness around workplace behaviour and POSH compliance is equally critical in shaping a healthy organisational culture.

The awareness programme formed part of the company’s proactive employee engagement and compliance initiatives.

The Approach

SafeGen conducted a highly interactive sensitisation workshop designed specifically for a close-knit startup environment where employees work collaboratively across teams and reporting structures.

The session focused on making the POSH Act simple, relatable, and practical by discussing:

  • The purpose and significance of the POSH Act.
  • Understanding boundaries and respectful workplace interactions.
  • Identifying verbal, non-verbal, physical, and digital forms of sexual harassment.
  • Responsibilities of every employee in maintaining a respectful work culture.
  • The complaint mechanism and role of the Internal Committee.
  • The importance of bystander intervention and creating psychological safety within teams.

Given the smaller group size, participants actively contributed through discussions, scenario-based exercises, and question-and-answer sessions, enabling deeper conversations around workplace conduct and preventive awareness.

The Outcome

The session created an open platform for employees to discuss workplace behaviour, clarify misconceptions surrounding the POSH Act, and better understand their shared responsibility in maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.

For a growing organisation like Tradis Solutions LLP, the programme served as an important step towards embedding respectful workplace practices early in its organisational journey, helping establish awareness as a foundation of company culture rather than merely a compliance requirement.
